Google Android One phones introduced with Spice, Karbonn and Micromax

Google released its first Android One smartphone series a low cost in the Indian market in partnership with hardware vendors Spice, Micromax and Karbonn. The three phones available on Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon online and with physical mobile phone shops soon.

Google Android One phones will be available online from 15 September.

Under Android software from Google to create partnerships with local manufacturers and phone for selling cheap Android phones, but rich in features. Google provides reference tables in particular hardware and software support to sales staff in the program.

Airtel will offer 200MB of data per month free for downloading apps and updates via Play Store. However, Google said that Airtel will not pay for the subsidy and other telecom operators will also join the program in the near future.

Sundar Pichai, the executive who is at the top position in Android departments of the company, said that Android devices get software updates directly from Google, and you’ll have quick access to updates of Android devices like Nexus. He said that Acer, Alcatel, Asus, HTC, Intex, Lava, Panasonic, Lenovo, Qualcomm Xolo and Android will be added to a program.

The first three Android phones include an Android phone Spice Mi-498 at Rs 6999 fixed.

It sports a rear camera of 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and full HD video recording and a 2 megapixel front camera. The phone has a 1700mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity the dual sim android spice phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, Wi-Fi and A-GPS.

One of the other Android phones is Karbonn Sparkle V at Rs 6399 prices available in blue, red, white and gray.
