Mid-budget smartphones are great. They offer extensive features and functionality and comes at the same price band. With so many different brands surround you and me, it is quite obvious for us to get lost in choosing the best smartphone for us.
Currently, there are three mid-range smartphones that come with amazing specs and are quite similar to each other. These smartphones are Asus ZenFone 2, Lenovo A6000 and Lenovo A7000. One smartphone from Asus and two from the Lenovo Camp. If you are stuck in choosing a smartphone, then you will be able to finally make a call on your choice.
Today, we will go forward and compare Asus ZenFone 2 vs Lenovo A6000 vs Lenovo A7000. Which smartphone are you making a call on? Let us find it out in detail.
Let’s start with the battery. The Battery has become a universal problem for all the smartphones users. Power Banks has become a necessary accessory. Out of the three smartphones, the Asus ZenFone 2 gets the highest value with 3000 mAh, followed tightly by Lenovo A7000 with 2900 mAh. Lenovo A6000 sports the least battery with only 2300 mAh.
The only drawback of Asus ZenFone 2 smartphones is its non-removable battery. Any user who is looking to change the battery can find this as a big blow to the plans. The best bet is to get a power bank for better backup and performance.
The smartphone display is an important factor for many buyers. A Bigger screen means better display(with same DPI). Both ZenFone 2 and A7000 comes with 5.5-inch screen size and offers capacitive touchscreen. A6000 comes with a 5-inch screen and has a higher pixel density of 294 PPI compared to 267 PPI for both ZenFone 2 and A7000.
Nowadays smartphones run on powerful hardware. The case is true for the three smartphones. In case of the processor, the ZenFone 2 offers the most powerful processor, 1.8 Ghz Quad-Core, whereas the A7000 and A6000 come close with 1.5 GHz Octa-Core and 1.2 GHz quad-core respectively. The importance of octa- core in A7000 is not that great considering the fact that most of the apps fail to utilize more than 2 cores.
On the realms of RAM, both ZenFone 2 and Lenovo A000 comes with 2 GB RAM. A6000 keeps the bar low with just 1 GB of RAM.
Internal Storage of ZenFone 2 is twice that of A7000 and A6000, i.e., 16 GB over 8 GB on both A7000 and A6000.
The A6000 doesn’t support any external microSD slot and has major disadvantages over ZenFone 2 and A7000. The expandable limit of the ZenFone 2 is also twice with 64 GB external memory support.
The Camera has become an integral part of the smartphone. In this case too, Asus ZenFone 2 offers better camera at 13-megapixel, compared to just 8-megapixel in both Lenovo smartphones.
Flash is supported on all the smartphones and the front camera on ZenFone 2 and A7000 is 5-megapixel. A6000 only supports a 2-megapixel front camera.
Software plays an important role in the user experience. Great software when coupled with the right hardware, can yield one of the best experiences for the user. In the department of software, Asus wins hands down with Android Lollipop 5.0 coupled with the Zen UI.
Lenovo A7000 is not behind as it sports Android 5.0 with Vibe UI and offers great user experience. The Lenovo A6000 comes with Android 4.4 and Vibe UI 2.0. In the software department, Asus ZenFone 2 wins hands down still Lenovo Vibe UI is not far behind compared to the features and functionalities provided by the Asus smartphone.
Comparing these three smartphones was a lot of fun for me. And, I would say that Lenovo A 6000 doesn’t belong to the race at all, still the demand of our readers has to be taken seriously and we did.
The Asus ZenFone 2 is the clear winner. But, before making the final verdict, it is important to take the price of the smartphones into the comparison. Currently, Asus ZenFone 2 comes in two variants, the first variant has 2 GB RAM, whereas the 2nd variant has 4 GB RAM. The price of the smartphones is 15K INR and 18K INR Respectively, which can be slightly on the higher side.
Lenovo A7000 is less costly and comes around only 9K INR with Lenovo A6000 with only 7 K INR pricetag.
Taking, the price tag in contrast, Asus ZenFone 2 and Lenovo A7000 are par to each other. Both provides an excellent feature set for the price they are being offered at. The higher specs of Asus ZenFone 2 affects its price and hence it won’t be wise to declare the Asus ZenFone 2 a winner.
The below chart lists the features that are good in particular smartphones. Take a look and decide for yourself. Also, keep the price in mind before making a call.
